What is the start page?

The start page is the participant's personal overview of their learning in Learnifier. Here, participants can quickly find courses, updates, and activities that are relevant to them.

What is it used for?

The start page helps participants keep track of their learning, continue ongoing courses, and see important information from the projects and learning activities they participate in.

Who is it for?

The start page is available to participants in Learnifier and is included in all customer plans.

Start page overview

The start page is the participant's personal overview and the page they see when they enter Learnifier. Here, information about the participant's learning is gathered in one place. Depending on what is available in your learning platform and to the individual participant, the page can display course activity, ongoing courses, recently added courses, microlearnings, highlights, and items that need attention. Course activity provides a quick overview of courses that have not been started, are ongoing, or have been completed.

Highlights

Highlights shows current or time-sensitive information from the projects the participant is enrolled in.

Participants may, for example, see information when:

  • they are on a waiting list for a project

  • they are waiting for approval to join a project

  • their participation in a project is about to expire

  • a project is approaching its end date

  • a project event is ongoing or about to start

  • an assignment is approaching its due date

  • there are unread discussion messages in one of their projects

  • a certificate is about to expire

When some highlights are displayed may depend on the settings in your learning platform.

Needs attention

Needs attention shows information that the participant should be aware of and that may, in some cases, require action.

Participants may, for example, see information when:

  • a project participation has been marked as failed

  • they have unread announcements in one of their projects

  • they have a course selection where no project has yet been selected

  • a certificate has expired

Courses and microlearnings

The start page gives participants quick access to the learning available to them. Depending on what is enabled in your learning platform and what the participant has access to, the start page can display:

  • course activity

  • ongoing courses

  • recently added courses

  • microlearnings
