New and Enhanced Permissions
To better support enterprise-level flexibility, we’ve introduced new granular permission settings:
Permission to make announcements can now be controlled. Previously, any admin or instructor could post announcements; now, this ability can be restricted to specific roles.
Permission to add new administrators can now be toggled. This helps organizations control admin access more centrally.
Permission to mark a participant as completed has been separated from the general permission to manage participants. This is especially helpful for setups where participant management is automated, but manual completions (e.g., for in-person sessions) are still needed.
Permission to manage course deadlines is now distinct from editing course content. Instructors can update deadlines without gaining full editing rights to the course.
Social Features
Enhancements to social functionality provide more flexibility and control:
Announcements without social enabled
Admins and instructors can now post announcements even if the social setting is turned off in the project. This allows for important updates to be shared without activating full social interactivity for learners.Hide email addresses
Social features can now be enabled without displaying participant email addresses—offering a more privacy-conscious experience while maintaining community engagement.
Improved Search Experience
When searching in the admin view, clicking on a material will now take you directly to the folder where the content is stored.
