We have received requests from our customers to write an article with some usable rules for how you can use automated communication... So, here you go!
Rule 1: Reminder to participants who haven't logged in (set of two rules)
(first rule)
1. Make sure the trigger is set to "Matching ALL of these rules".
2. Set the trigger "Participant".
3. Set the status "Activated".
4. Choose the option "Exactly".
5. Enter number of days.
6. Done with the first one!
(second rule)
7. Set the trigger "Participant".
8. Set the status "Number of logins".
9. Choose the option "Exactly".
10. Enter "0" (number of logins).
Rule 2: Reminder to participants who haven't responded to an invitation to an event (set of two rules)
(first rule)
1. Set trigger to "Event".
2. Select event in the drop down menu.
3. Choose the option "Calendar invitation response".
4. Choose the option "Is" and then "No response".
(second rule)
5. If you want the rule to be more effective, please add a rule for participants who haven't logged in. Repeat the steps 7-10 in the rule above.
Rule 3: Communication sent to participants who are done with an activity
1. Set trigger to "Activity".
2. Select activity in the drop down menu.
3. Set the status to "Is" and then "Completed".
