Module accessible when: The "Module accessible when" decides if and when an module should be accessible or locked for the participants. There are seven options:
- Always accessible - The module will always be accessible for the participants.
- Previous module completed - The module will be accessible when the previous module has been completed by the participant.
- All previous modules completed - The module will be accessible when the previous modules have been completed by the participant.
- Previous module completed and passed - The module will be accessible when the previous module has been completed and passed by the participant.
A prerequisite is that the previous module contains an activity with a component that participants can be completed and passed/failed for. - All previous modules completed and passed - The module will be accessible when all previous modules are completed and passed by the participant. A prerequisite is that the a previous module contain an activity with a component/components that participants can be completed and passed/failed for.
- Set date - The module will be accessible at a specific date. NOTE: You will be ask to set the date details when your press "Publish".
- Days before/after event - The module will be accessible XX day/days before/after an event. A prerequisite to add this setting is that the project contains an event.
More about condition Days before/after event
This option is used to specify that the module will be unlocked a number of days before or after an event in the course.
When selecting this option, two additional fields become visible:
1. Date relative to - A dropdown with all events that has been added to the course.
2. Days - Number of days before or after the event.
When the course is published, each event in the course is given a start date and time, and an end date and time.
* If you specify a negative number of days, the module is unlocked that number of days before the start date of the event at midnight.
* If you specify zero or positive number of days, the module is unlocked that number of days after the end date of the event at midnight.
It is not possible to enable the module at a day during the event if it is a multi-day event.
